Rust Roest - Not Starting

After not being used for two months the old Yamaha would not start. The battery was good, but nevertheless the engine did not fire up. So I hooked up the charger and went looking for any causes.

The spark at the sparkplug was quite weak. Time to check wiring and all connectors. After 20 years the electric system of this bike is a matter of concern.

The connectors indeed needed attention. So I got at it with some contact spray WD-40 to clean and refresh it all.

After that the engine fired up right away.

I then went for a small ride. On the way back I stopped at the old mill of my hometown to shoot some photos with the sun getting low. I want to use the possibility to change ISO values of my little Canon camera.

The photo with the camera in automatic mode was my choice in the end. On a ISO 400 value there really was a lot of noise. Oh well, now I know for myself how this works.
