Cheaha State Park

Er was een beetje tijd over op vrijdag en dat gaf de gelegenheid het dichtbij gelegen Cheaha State Park te bezoeken. Cheaha betekent "hoog" in de taal van de Indianen. Het is de hoogste plek in Alabama.

There happened to be a little time left on Friday and that gave us the opportunity to visit Cheaha State Park.
Cheaha means "High"in the local Indian language. It is the highest place in Alalabama.

It is a beautiful park with a restaurant from which one has a wonderful panorama of the valley below and the sunset.
